YSFG Podcast Take One!
Welcome to our very first YSFangirls podcast (minimally edited!). We’re so excited to be able to do this again. Thank you for appreciating Yvonne enough to follow us in our transition from Sarah Walker Fangirls to Yvonne Strahovski Fangirls. We wouldn’t be doing this without the generous support of all ten of you who have asked about our podcasts (heh). Thanks to all who donated as well. Much much appreciated! This really keeps us going.
On this episode we discuss Yvonne on Dexter and Other Projects, with main emphasis on Dexter. We had an opening in our schedules that allowed us to podcast on a Sunday right when “Do The Wrong Thing” (OMG THAT EPISODE!) was airing. So we were a little behind on our analyses. I hope you enjoy it still though. Our excitement is pretty palpable. Sorry if we’re a little rusty.
For those who are not regular listeners: we are intended for mature audiences only. We cuss, discuss adult themes and subjects, and cuss some more. We are also FULL OF SPOILERS AND SPECULATIONS. In this episode we do discuss spoilers only up to “Do The Wrong Thing” and the next episode, “Chemistry” previews. One more note, we’re pretty irreverent and silly. There are a couple of things I wanted to chat about but they’re about last night’s ep, So, moving on.
LOL, I do appreciate how many times “ANGRY KILLER TABLE SEX” was mentioned. Hehe.
I agree with the whole Deb dreaming about Dex sexually being creepy and why the writers put that into their storyline. Still waiting to see what that’s about. It’s kind of been left in the back-burner now that Deb knows about Dex’s Dark Passenger.
I’d like to speculate more on Hannah now that I’ve seen episode 8, but I don’t want to spoil anybody who hasn’t watched it. I’m happy with all the fangirling in this podcast, hilarious. Most importantly still digging Yvonne being on a show like this. Best part is we get her for the rest of the season (i think) till Dexter finally kills her. Mwuahaha. Heh, I’m sorry I still feel like she’s going to die. Yvonne’s been great on the show. Her chemistry with Dex is pretty dark and fun to watch ’cause you just don’t know what will happen. And I still feel like there’s much to be revealed about Hannah; even after watching last night’s ep. It;s thrilling.
Someone mentioned the upcoming Deb an Hannah seen. I am totes looking forward to that, especially cos both these female characters are so alpha. Both don’t take shit. Hannah is kind of a smart-ass and Deb doesn’t play. It’ll be fun to see that play out.

Wow it was so great to hear you podcast again.
I love how much you all love Yvonne and it shows in this podcast and how incredibe an Actor she is. It was great to listen to your thoughts on her appearance in really only three episodes upto this weeks amazing episode. I have really liked Hannahs development, I have never watched Dexter before and did not see the point of watching this season before she actually appeared but obviously the character was talked about before her introduction. Her first two episodes she was just in two scenes and I have to be honest after the first watch I just fast forwarded to them. Then two scenes in 7.06 and then 7.07 all I can say is wow.
Once I heard that you would be podcasting I wanted it sooner rather than later but now after that episode and the fact that you had not seen it beforehand but were just reading about it ‘Live’ just made me wish that it had been just that litle bit later.
I made the Mistake of looking at some comments about this episode and particularly the ending on a Dexter fan site and they seem to be so obssessed with Deb/Dexter and quite rude about Hannahs involvement that made it even better to hear your views.
It was funny to hear about your poll on if Hannah would end up on Dexters table and I agree that if this had been epiosde 13 I would have expected Dexter to kiil her but as we know she is in for the rest of the season I never thought he would go through with it particularly when he went to all that effort with there first date, and it was such a little thing but I loved Yvonnes smile when they are in the car when she sees they are outside the Santa place, and when Dexter tells her about breaking in.
Did you hear Yvonne on the Dexter Wrap up podcast she was gorgeous as usual and she talks about the chemistry that they have on screen and it is so easy to see in every scene they have together.
| hope it is not to much longer that you ladys, and Nick can get back together and record another podcast but I hope that you talk in fair detail about Yvonnes scenes in fair detail in each episode between now and then, almost like some of your Chuck podcsats with a scene by scene discussion. After her incredible performance in this episode and the previews of next weeks it looks like you will have a lot to talk about.
Maybe if any of your followers can right an article about Golden Girl or indeed these dexter eoisodes for your site I would love to read them.
